This endpoint has been deprecated and may be replaced or removed in future versions of the API.

ClearSystemSetting stores an empty value under a URL key, which then reads back as not-found (tetrateio/fraser#7281). UpsertSystemSetting rejects an empty value, so this is the API write that unsets a URL. Only the "proxy-url" key and the "dataplane-url:<data plane ID>" keys are accepted; any other key returns InvalidArgument.

A clear of a "dataplane-url:" key is refused with FailedPrecondition when another organization uses the same data plane ID, like SetDataplaneURL. It leaves the data plane's default Project Gateway unchanged and sends the data plane its new URL configuration.

Deprecated: a data plane declares its own hostnames from 0.7, and this goes with the stored data plane URL in a later release.
