SetPreferredEndpoint

SetPreferredEndpoint stars one of the project's endpoints as the address the consoles print in code samples and setup snippets, or clears the star. It moves no traffic, so it sends no configuration to a data plane.

The server checks the request against the project's endpoints, the list InferenceIngressService.ListDataplaneURLs returns for project_id with include_unaddressed. target_id names an entry by its target_id and stores that entry's first address. address must equal one of the addresses of an entry. When the entry has no address, or the address serves no entry, the call returns FailedPrecondition and stores nothing.
