tetrate CLI reference
The tetrate command-line tool deploys and manages the Tetrate Agent Router data plane and configures coding tools and integrations, one tool across both product lines.
tetrate replaces tare, tars, and adminAgent Router's commands live under tetrate agentrouter: tare doctor is now tetrate agentrouter doctor, tare install is tetrate agentrouter dataplane install, and tare gateway install is tetrate agentrouter dataplane ingress install. The old names keep working until at least 1 February 2027 and print their replacement on stderr. This reference uses the tetrate spelling throughout; the legacy tare_* command pages stay published alongside the generated reference until the old names are removed.
The install script installs tetrate into ~/.tetrate/bin:
curl -fsSL https://tare.tetrate.ai/tools/install.sh | bash
