Agent Router Service
For individual developers on the Service tier. Tetrate hosts Agent Router; no installation is required.
Coming from aigw run?
If you've run the open source Agent Router on your laptop with aigw run, Agent Router Service is the hosted version of that endpoint. Sign up at router.tetrate.ai, create an API key in the Developer Console, and change two values in your client:
export OPENAI_BASE_URL=https://api.router.tetrate.ai/v1
export OPENAI_API_KEY=<your key from the Developer Console>
Your request code doesn't change. Providers, fallbacks, and MCP profiles are set in the Developer Console instead of a config file. Tetrate supplies the provider keys, or you bring your own. Billing is pay as you go from a credit balance: the model's price plus a 5% routing fee. Eligible new users can claim bonus credits from the dashboard after sign-up.
If you run the open source project in Kubernetes for several teams, you want Agent Router Enterprise instead.
