Agent Router Enterprise Self-Hosted Data Plane

Agent Router Enterprise · Self-Hosted Data Plane

Agent Router Enterprise Self-Hosted Data Plane is a hybrid deployment: Tetrate hosts the management plane; you install only the data plane in your Kubernetes cluster. Complete management-plane setup and data plane installation before opening the Console to developers. Configure SSO after the data plane is running and before developer handoff.

Step 1

Prerequisites

Access, accounts, cloud quotas, browser requirements, network rules, and Kubernetes cluster readiness to confirm before any installation step.

Verify prerequisites →

Step 2

Onboarding

Sign in with initial admin credentials. Complete organization details, providers, models, and download the data plane credential (wizard Step 5). SSO can wait until after the data plane is installed.

Step 3

Data plane installation

Install the Controller and Agent Router in the target Kubernetes cluster using the data plane credential from onboarding.

Step 4

Gateway installation

Install the data plane gateway components that manage inbound access and configure request routing.

Step 5

SSO configuration

Connect an OIDC identity provider so developers can sign in to the Console and Admin Dashboard. Complete before developer handoff.

Step 6

Console quickstart

Issue an API key and confirm a first routed request once SSO is working and the gateway is reachable.

Optional after SSO: SSO role mapping — for deployments that assign Agent Router roles from the identity provider.
